 LZ Series Variable-area Flowmeter With Metallic Measuring Tube

 

  LZ Series Variable-area Flowmeter with metallic measuring tube has the characteristics of simple structure, reliable, wide application field, high precision, convenient for installation. Compared with the variable-area flowmeter with glass tube, this series has the characteristics of high-pressure resistant, high-temperature resistant, safe, ocular reading etc. It is suitable to measure the opaque or corrosive medium. The tube and the flange are made material of stainless steel(1Cr18Ni9Ti or 316L). The orifice, float of normal type are made of stainless steel. The orifice , float and the tube lining of anticorrosion type are made of PTFE(Teflon).

NOTE: Our company also produces DN4~DN100 whole series of Variable-area Flowmeter with Glass Tube.



Measuring Principle

     

  LZ Series Flowmeter with Metallic Measuring Tube is of Variable-area Flowmeter . As the fluid flow upward in the tube, the float moves upward to a certain position where the lifting force and the gravitational force are balanced, at the moment, the circulation area between the float and the orifice(or the conical tube) is kept fixed. The circulation area is proportional to the height of the float, it means the height of the float represent the volumetric flowrate. When the float moves up and down , it transmits its positional to the indicator outside in form of magnetic-coupling, so make the needle of the indicator follows the movement of the float, and by using the cam board to show the value of flowrate linearly on the indicator.
Electrical remote transmission of this flowmeter means that it can read the flowrate by the needle of the indicator on-site directly, also through the angular displacement sensor and electric circuit, converts into 4~20mA and send out.
