Ultrasonic Open Channel Flowmeter
 LSQ series Ultrasonic Open Channel Flowmeter is a new type of measuring instrument used to measure the sewage flow of industrial and mining enterprises when it flow naturally in open channel. It is extensively applied in petroleum, chemical industry, chemical fibre, light textile, pharmacy etc. It is the essential instrument areas to measure the discharge of waste water. adopted by the environmental protection Dept. to supervise the waste water discharged by the city and town to protect the water quality of rivers against pollution. It is also essential in measuring of irrigation water volume executed by the water conservancy Dept. in the near future.

Measuring Principle

 

 

LSQ series of Ultrasonic Open Channel Flow-meter is composed ultrasonic sensor, flow flume(P Flume) , and microcomputer measuring system . When the medium flow freely through the flume , the relation between the liquid level height H measured by the flowmeter and the volumetric flowrate Q is : Q =CHn (n, C is the coefficient).
The ultrasonic sensor is controlled by the microcomputer system, carries on the launching and receiving of the ultrasonic wave. Microcomputer calculate the height of the liquid level H by calculating difference between the time for the wave launch and return of liquid surface , and then can draw out volume flowrate Q of the liquid which flows through the fume by a series of judging, calculating, and conversion.
